Time Tells Us
Threads, Text, Clock Hands, and Clockworks, Wooden boards
On three black wooden boards, each is a "letter" made of a single piece of thread. I invited my grandmother, mother, joined me to briefly recall and recount our individual key life moments so far.
The thread on each board is tied to the hour, minute, and second hands independently. During the exhibition, they start together, rotated and driven by the clock hands at different speeds, gradually disappearing at varying rates.
